Victorian Land Records

Are you interested in Victorian Land Records? Were your ancestors early settlers in Victoria?

Land records are a wonderful source of family history information not found elsewhere. Unfortunately they are not the easiest of topics to research.

With this in mind I am currently working on a Blog series on this topic which I will publish progressively in the coming weeks.

I was delighted when the Heraldry and Genealogy Society of Canberra asked me to deliver my talk again on Victorian Land Records : Breaking the Code to their monthly meeting. I had previously delivered it to a smaller group at the Early Australian Special Interest Group.

For the benefit of my readers I will re-use the content in this presentation in the forthcoming Blog series.

If you have any specific questions about Victorian land records that you want me to address, don't hesitate to ask me via the Comments section below.

In the meantime, happy ancestor hunting.
