In celebration of Valentine's Day, My Heritage is providing free access to their worldwide collection of marriage records until 17 February 2019.
This is a great opportunity to further your research on ancestors in Europe, Australia, the USA, and other countries covered by My Heritage.
Marriage records are of course part of the vital records set and provide information about the individual, their spouse, age, address, occupation, parents' details and religious affiliations. Each jurisdiction is likely to have differing information beyond the basics of names, dates and places where the ceremony took place. The further back in history you go, expect to find less information. Nevertheless marriage records are key records in our family history research.
