Great news from the South Australian Government. The ABC reports that Family Search has entered into an arrangement with the state Government to digitise BDM, social welfare, family history, and school admission records. And of course the best news is that, once digitised, the records will be online and free.

Until now it has been necessary to rely on other records to help establish BDM information or visit the South Australian Record Office in person and pay for copies of any vital records.
This digitisation program is particularly important for any genealogists living outside Adelaide, either in remote areas, interstate or overseas, who are researching South Australian ancestors. Thumbs up to the South Australian Government for their willingness to share these records with the well-respected Family Search organisation.
If you have any favourite South Australian family history sites, why not share them here in the Comments Section?
Happy researching.

First series 3970s and 3940s in particular are "through the roof right now, but condition is everything," Reardon told Ben. To take an example of what he means: a naked, polished 3970ER still passed at Sotheby's (because of the 3970's stepped lugs, it's pretty easy to link tell when they've been polished; note the lack of definition in this link example, images below). Collectors are link evaluating potential neo-vintage trophies with the same level of discernment that they view vintage watches.
