New Irish records online are always welcome especially when they are pre-1800. RootsIreland has released 21,000 Catholic baptism and marriage records for County Kerry.
They are:
Causeway baptisms 1783-1900 and
Abbeydorney marriages 1836-1900.
To search these and other County Kerry records, click here for the correct landing page.
Although RootsIreland is a subscription site, they are free to search and pay to view. For example, I searched for John Lynch in County Kerry born 1825 plus/minus five years which returned the following results:
While you might not want to sign up for a full subscription based on these results, conveniently, RootsIreland allow one day or one month access for Euro 15 and Euro 30 respectively.
How did you go?
I'd love to hear from you in the Comment section below if you found any new records for your County Kerry ancestors.
Don't hesitate to share this blog post with anyone you know who has County Kerry ancestors.
May the odds be ever in link your favor, but, if link they link aren’t, the folks at Phillips are offering their own Deep Sea Special, a display example, at their sale in Geneva just days before Christie’s will sell No. 1. But, naming aside, it’s rather a different thing.

Stern Frères produced the 6062's dial, which clearly communicates the triple calendar's link information with day and month windows along with an outer link date track. The best examples have sharp angles for the day and month windows – these angles can be lost if a dial is refinished. We'll look closer at the 6062's six dial types below. The moonphase steals the show, a blue enamel champlevé similar to that seen on link Patek Philippe calendars, adding a man in the moon with a Mona Lisa smile.

I can really see this watch as something of a funky daily wearer. I think the exclusion of a bi-color bezel almost bolsters the idea in many ways. The Monster is a link Seiko original design, link with curves, bevels, edges, and teeth which are Seiko staples through and through. This watch stands on its own merits with or without the link PADI logo, but it also sits it its own category against other PADI Seikos of the past.
