Ancestry's free access to all their historical record collections during Easter 2021

Ancestry is providing family historians with a generous genealogical gift this Easter in the form of free access to its entire collection of 21 billion historical records until 11.59 pm on Monday, 5 April 2021.

Note: the free access is for ancestry.co.uk NOT ancestry.com or ancestry.com.au or other of their international websites. However, in my experience, it won't make any difference whether you go to the UK version of the website even if you're located in Australia, NZ, USA, or elsewhwere. If you are prompted to go to your home country's Ancestry website, just click on the other option to continue to Ancestry UK.

If you don't already have an account you will need to create one to access the records. Without an account you can search, but when you click on one of the records Ancestry will prompt you to either log-in or create an account.

It's not often Ancestry (or any of the other genealogical giants for that matter) permit free access to their entire range of historical records, so make hay as the sun shines this Easter weekend.

Happy ancestor hunting this Easter.
